I will start this post by defining "Daily Vlogs". Making and sharing your everyday stuff with people on the internet through videos is called vlogging. Vlog is also called video-log or video-diary. There are a lot of youtube partners who are making a living out of daily vlogs, for example there is 0TyMoss0, Shaytards, CTFxC and LeFloofTV. People from all over the world watch them as they make videos about their daily routine. This concept of making videos of your daily routine and sharing on the internet was first introduced by Shay Carl, who has been doing daily videos for over three years now and have more than 500 Million total video views on his vlogs. Now I will share my videos progress to let you know the pros and cons of daily vlogs.
Since late October 2012, I have started making Daily Vlogs on my main channel. Daily Vlogging is fun specially if you are doing it without any pressure like a tough job routine or your work schedule. Luckily or "NOT", I don't have a job. So That's what I do whole day. Think, Make, Edit, Upload and Baaam(the end of the day). The process of thinking is very much reduced to nothing if you have a few points in mind before you make a video. Before making daily vlogs I made a web series called "How much a youtube partner earn?" and I got an overwhelming response of that series, on average I was getting over 25,000 video views. But then I decided to start daily vlogs. My average video views of my daily vlogs are 500-1000, which is a great setback for any youtuber, since its a steep change from 25k video views to 500 video views. Nevertheless, I am doing daily vlogs for over a month now and here's what I have learned...
The Pros of Daily Vlogs
- You can do whatever you like...
- You don't have to do any extraordinary editing.
- You can make vlogs whenever you want.
- You don't have to follow a niche.
- You already have what it takes... LIFE
- You can select any topic you want.
- You can make at least one video everyday.
- You start loving your work.
- You can keep track of special events of your life.
- You won't get much VIEWS as you would think
- You won't become an overnight youtube celebrity.
- You would think nobody cares.
- You might want to KILL yourself (provided you are trying to do it for full time and you are not famous enough).
So before you start daily vlogs I want you to know that there is no way that your vlogs will make you overnight celebrity or an internet sensation. Daily vlogs may help you to achieve small targets but they won't help you much if you are already not a celebrity on youtube. But giving up is not the solution for any problem, you should start daily vlogging sooner or later because whether it helps others or not it will definitely help you to reach your past easily.
